Creativity, innovation and problem solving skills are the best skill sets needed to survive in this 21st century and to be a leader. Keeping this in mind, an International Educational Conference, Adhyapan – 2012, was organized on 17th & 18th September 2012 at India Habitat Center, Lodi Road, New Delhi.
The objective of Adhyapan – 2012 was to generate productive discussions, thoughtful reflections and share best practices of teaching from different parts of the world. This was not only aimed to make a big difference in building a knowledge society but also to stimulate teachers, academicians and institutional leaders.
The event featured three internationally renowned educators and leaders ( Dr. Gururaj Karajagi, Chairman, Academy for Creative Teaching, Dr. Gerard Puccio, Chairman, Department of Creativity, Buffalo University, USA and Prof. Masao Ishihara, associated with CEEO, Tufts University and MediaLab, MIT) delivering thought-provoking, practical presentations on creativity and constructionism in education.
About 200 delegates participated in the conference and gained considerable knowledge about Creativity and Creative Teaching Techniques. Other than the teachers and institutional leaders of private educational institutions, representation from the schools and educational bodies of Government of India and KendriyaVidyalaya was overwhelming.
Adhyapan – 2012, wasorganized on 13th & 14th September 2012 at JnanaJyothi Auditorium, Palace Road, Bengaluru. About 600 delegates participated in the conference and gained considerable knowledge about Creativity and Creative Teaching Techniques.
Adhyapan – 2012, was organized on 14th September 2012 at Hotel Le Meridien, Bengaluru as well. It was a conference on Creative Leadership Skills and Principles of Management held for the faculty members of technical and management institutes. It was organized by Shruth and Smith Foundation in association with VTU. The event was a success with a hundred and twenty people, all of whom were Principals, directors and administrators participating in the conference
